DEMCORE Technology, a robust part of the DEMCORE Group, stands as a leading consortium in recycling technologies, prioritizing environmental sustainability. Since 2011, we have been contributing to a sustainable future worldwide by efficiently developing recycling technologies for critical secondary raw materials such as electronic waste, catalytic converter waste, lithium-ion batteries, precious metal scraps, copper scrap, and aluminum scrap.

Years
of experience
Demcore started its first R&D activities in 2011 at the Marmara University MC365 laboratory in Istanbul, aiming to recover precious metals that are limited in the world. In 2016, MC365 Rafineri A.Ş. was established with government incentives and started its activities in the sector. Since then, the R&D team has successfully recovered important metals such as gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, copper and aluminum from electronic waste and catalytic converter scrap, adding an industrial dimension to R&D studies.
In 2021, the company was restructured as Demcore Technology and Engineering A.Ş. with the slogan “Save the Future” and expanded its activities for a more sustainable world. As Demcore, we continue to develop precious metal recovery processes and technologies with an R&D team with over 20 years of industry experience.
E-waste
In 2022, only 22.3% of the year's e-waste was properly collected and recycled, leaving an estimated $62 billion worth of recoverable natural resources unutilized and heightening pollution risks across the globe.
Rare Earth Elements
With the increasing demand for electric vehicles and renewable energy systems, global demand for rare earth elements is growing rapidly. Just 1% of rare earth element demand is met by e-waste recycling.
